Our flight department staff is committed to providing our clients with efficient, convenient and safe responses to their transportation needs. Our pilots have logged over several thousand hour s of flight time. Our management team and pilots all have more than 30 years of aviation experience.

OUR AIRCRAFT

Astrum Helicopters operates the Bell 206 helicopter family of turbine powered rotary wing aircraft, which is renowned and considered to be the safest, most reliable aircraft of any kind flying throughout the world. The spacious cabin offers a seating configuration ideally suited for tours, corporate and executive transport.

The Bell 206 B3 Jet Ranger is a 5 place helicopter with an average cruise speed of 100 mph, range of 300 miles and an endurance of 3 hours.

Astrum Helicopters has a $ 1 Million USD per seat liability insurance policy on all helicopters.

AERIAL EXPOSURES MOUNT

We have our own Aerial Exposures Camera mount with 4 KS-8 Gyros, we can accommodate cameras up to 22 lbs.

Stabilized Platform is based on the use of Kenyon Laboratories Gyro Stabilizers.  Depending on the camera weight and the amount of stabilization required the system uses either three or gour high-powered gyrostabilizers.  Stabilization is provided in all three axes.

Astrum Helicopters charges a 4 hour daily minimum for mount-flown operations. Equipment can be attached on the helicopter the night before, and disassembled after hours.
